Standing still is not an option in business and to support, help and inspire local businesses to move forward Genix will be holding this free seminar for ambitious small businesses, titled ‘Ready for Growth 2017’. The event takes place on Friday 12th May at The Prince of Wales Stand, Fakenham Racecourse and is sponsored by Box-it East, who provide fully secured document management services to clients across the East of England.
Our keynote speaker is Sarah Pettegree who founded Bray's Cottage Pork Pies in 2007 and they make their fantastic pies on the North Norfolk coast overlooking Blakeney and Cley. . Underlying this slightly quirky food business, which makes unusual but delicious flavours of pork pie and even huge tiered wedding pork pies, is a sound business sense as Sarah’s former career was as a consulting management accountant.
Sarah will share her experiences of starting up and growing her business and how to gain more customers and ensure an expanding business has the structures in place to cope with growth.
Other subjects we'll cover will include how to manage cash flow, funding growth and business structures.
The Ready for Growth seminar will also have a panel made up of representatives from business support organisations in the region for a question and answer time.
Genix delivers independent face-to-face business advice, develops masterclasses and seminars and creates networking opportunities for companies in the Eastern Region. Our business advisers are professional, approachable and almost all of them currently run their own businesses. This means that they really understand the challenges that business owners face.
